- This has become our largest and most active forum because the physics GRE is just one aspect of getting accepted into a graduate physics program.
- There are applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, visiting schools, anxiety of waiting for acceptances, deciding between schools, finding out where others are going, etc.

dsaqwert -- post your results on thegradcafe.com so that others will know that 3/2 isn't the last day for caltech.

Except for the guy who got that phone call from caltech applied physics, did anyone else receive anything from them?
It is the last school I'm waiting for (and my #1 choice, was admitted to #2), and It would be annoying to delay the whole registration process by two weeks just because they like to send the bulk of rejections exactly on April 1st.
Anyone has info on their decision/notification schedule?

still no word. alas. i applied online, but...
has anyone been receiving snail mail rejection letters from caltech (straight non-applied physics) --- when did you receive the letter?

Just got the rejection from caltech AP. I Guess the 15th is a big date for many schools, and I guess I was not meant to go to California....
