Oct 2012 scores

Post by shanyish » Wed Nov 07, 2012 2:41 pm

Hi Everyone!
Does anyone know by any chance, when we will be able to get the Oct 2012 scores on phone?

I want to assess whether my method in this exam was good or should I change it for the exam in Nov.

Thank you!

They won't be available until Monday, i.e. after you've taken the Nov test.

But I have read in the posts of previous years, students canceling their Nov test after hearing the result for the Oct test the day before the Nov test. Is it not true?

I believe in the past you have been able to call on the morning of the exam and get your score.

Score reporting might even be postponed until Tuesday, since Monday is a national holiday.

Details? I just took the test today and I feel like I got 80+ correct but it felt sooo much easier then the five released tests. So I'm worried that this test would be 90 or so for 99 percentile.

They don't give you your raw score anymore, just the scaled score and percentile.

I got a 910/88%, which I'm slightly dismayed about, because I was hoping for at least a 90%, but I guess I'm OK with it. I always tend to think the actual tests are harder because of the added pressure, and I scored above 92% on every practice test.

What number did you guys call?

I just tried 1-609-771-7670 & 1-866-473-4373, for both of which I got an automated machine saying office is open only Mon - Fri, so no person is available

Yeah, I called them and got the same response-no matching record. Where did y'all take your physics GRE? I took it in NYC.

The same happened to me when I used my confirmation number, but using my registration number I got my scores.

I called to 1-609-771-7290 on Saturday and it worked fine.

Make sure you use the correct confirmation number. At first, I used the confirmation for my general GRE test, which was online. That was why I couldn't get my scores. Look at the GRE admission to get your confirmation number for the physics GRE test.

Barely made it! I thought I was going to have to pay ETS twelve more dollars for a second there.
