Age group!

Post by satyad18 » Thu Nov 25, 2010 3:32 am

Well, I don't know exactly why I've thought of starting this. Maybe to get an idea of what the people's age are when they get into grad school, because I've heard that it varies.
And I hope the poll options are pretty close in range. :)

Most people celebrate what is known as a "birthday" every year. If you are able to count all your birthdays and click the little button in this poll that refers to that number, there is a small chance you will be chosen to participate in a dance off with the original poster.

It's a tad more complicated than that (we don't just give out dance-offs for free around here)--you have to figure out when you will start grad school and figure out how many birthdays you'll have at that point, not how many you have currently.

Hey satyad18, there are some grad students who aren't yet old enough to legally order a beer.

I got confused. Am I supposed to vote with the age I was when I started grad school the first time (in 1979), or my age when I begin next year (in 2011). It's a fairly large difference.
