Landau and Lifshitz as Test Prep

Post by masterofthevoid » Mon Jan 04, 2010 7:05 am

Are the L&L books on Quantum mechanics, classical mechanics, theory of fields, and statistical mechanics good resources for test prep or are they entirely overkill?

Thanks,
BHL

Not overkill, but hyperkill.. :) there will be plenty of time to straighten up your basics and even study advanced level after the test. As for the test is concerned try to focus on the basics..

I think that these books only are not enough for your preparation for the GRE test ... you MUST read the whole series to be confident that you can ace the exams ... I tease you
