Are universities closed

  • This has become our largest and most active forum because the physics GRE is just one aspect of getting accepted into a graduate physics program.
  • There are applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, visiting schools, anxiety of waiting for acceptances, deciding between schools, finding out where others are going, etc.

Are universities closed

Are couriers sent during Christmas time accepted only after the holidays?

Are universities very strict regarding Dec 31st deadline? Is it ok if transcripts and GRE scores reach late by a week or two? [I am especially worried about Rutgers, if anybody knows please clarify?]

Hey sidharth! (You're the same sidharth from Physics Forums right?)

I have heard that if your letters, tests scores, or transcripts get there a little bit late that is not a big problem. The deadline mostly applies to stuff you directly control, such as the online application. I could be wrong, and it may depend on the school, but I wouldn't worry about it too much, especially if they are post marked before the deadline.

No problem.

I guess I was thinking of a different sidharth. :)
