Good Physics GRE after bad Math GRE. What can happen?

Post by marcotav » Fri Dec 12, 2008 12:47 am

I am applying for a Physics graduate programs and I had a pretty good result in this GRE Physics Subject Test. What I am worried about is that 4 years ago I took a Math GRE (not Physics) without studying much, just for practice, and didn't go too well... anyone knows if that's a big problem (given that ETS reports all scores within 5 years)?

Thank you,

Marco

You are applying for a PhD in Physics not Math, so it shouldn't really matter. Unless perhaps, you are applying for Mathematical Physics or something like that and you make a point in your SOP that you are good at Math.
