International Students

  • This has become our largest and most active forum because the physics GRE is just one aspect of getting accepted into a graduate physics program.
  • There are applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, visiting schools, anxiety of waiting for acceptances, deciding between schools, finding out where others are going, etc.

International Students

Hi guys,
I live in Canada and so am considered an international student when applying to American universities. I realize this is a really qualitative question, but how much harder is it for someone from Canada to get accepted to an American university than for an American student? I looked up some of the statistics for some of the universities I am applying to, but they only seem to tell you how many applied and how many were accepted (from all groups). Thanks for any info, I'm really anxious about this,
-dm
