i think the test on April 1 was of the not so hard questions type, so getting a high scaled scored is going to be tough, I'd say a raw score of 70-80 would give you a 900.

I took it also. In comparison to 1077 it seemed somewhat easier overall, but it was very similar. My plans dictate that I will be taking it again in November, since that is when I will be applying to Ph.D. programs.

I took the exam yesterday as well and was surprised how easy it was compared to the four practice exams I'd tried (8677, 9277, 9677, 0177).
I was also surprised at how many questions seemed to be repeated from the published past exams--some of them were practically word-for-word!
It was nice during the three hours to feel confident about lots of the questions, but now I'm more than a bit worried about how well one would have to do to get a good scaled score on this one!

It's going to be really hard to get a high scaled score i'm terribly concerned about that, personally I think i have an edge when it's about more difficult problems as opposed to doing more easy ones faster

Well, it's very strange. I took the test on april 1st as well, and I found it quite difficult compared to the sample tests I had found on the internet. I've been taking it in France. Is the French test the same as the US test ? For example, on my test the 1st question was about 1d collision of bodies of the same mass... but did everybody have this test on april 1st ?

I took the exam in the UK so was also wondering if our papers were different given the 5+ hour time difference. (Our exam also started at 8 am.)

Seems the date is April 29, I thought I just would wait till they mailed it. But curiosity might get to me. Anyway for me this was more of a practice run, and I'll be studying much more over the summer to get a good score in Nov/Dec.

Anyone get their scores through the phone? I'm thinking of doing so.
