- This has become our largest and most active forum because the physics GRE is just one aspect of getting accepted into a graduate physics program.
- There are applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, visiting schools, anxiety of waiting for acceptances, deciding between schools, finding out where others are going, etc.

Has anyone else had admissions committees lose or misfile their materials? I swear I was so careful with everything within my control, but this has happened to me twice already! After dealing with a nightmarishly disorganized recommender who kept losing stuff and sending things without the proper documents attached, I had one admissions committee misfile all of my transcripts and another lost all of my letters of recommendation. Agh! Maybe it is the physics gods telling me to give up and go to med school as Prof. Katz suggests.
