BU Astrophysics?

  • This has become our largest and most active forum because the physics GRE is just one aspect of getting accepted into a graduate physics program.
  • There are applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, visiting schools, anxiety of waiting for acceptances, deciding between schools, finding out where others are going, etc.

BU Astrophysics?

Post by DCB » Fri Oct 19, 2007 11:05 pm

Is anybody familiar with how hard it might be to get into the BU astrophysics program?

My GRE was 480 verbal, 780 Math, 660 (50%) physics.
Rutgers Physics BA GPA 3.94 (with two semesters of astrophysics, both A's)
Two lower level grad physics classes from Northeastern, Both A's.
Currently a physics lab program assistant at an NJ state college.
No research experience.
Able to get pretty decent letters of rec.

Any thoughts?
I'm scheduled for the GRE Nov 3rd, but i might ditch it if I'm not feeling confident.
