Shall I wait on Cornell? No rejection, no acceptance. No response to my email. Any idea?

Based on Gradcafe it looks like at least part of the UCLA physic dept. is sending out admits.

On Monday, March 20, Brown Graduate School will host newly accepted students who are members of historically underrepresented groups for a free daylong event. Won't you join us?
Did anyone else get this email?
I am also an URM student and did not get that email. So maybe you'll hear good news soon.
Just reached out to the Diversity Dean organizing that event and she confirmed my acceptance :D

Also got rejected from Harvard

Has anyone heard from the Rutgers Astro group yet? It seems all the acceptances on here and TGC are just CME, HEPth, and Bio

Nope. But I did hear back from Harvard, which I then removed from the quote (hence the 'fixed').

Any official acceptances from Brown or Stony Brook recently? I emailed Minnesota asking about my application status they gave me the following reply:

"We hope to have all admissions decisions sent within the next week. We have been submitting them to the University, but as you can imagine we have an extensive amount of applicants so it takes some time. Thank you for your patience."

I called them on Monday and they said they had sent out the majority of acceptances, but that I could contact POI to know about my particular application. Sent an email to the prof, no reply, so I'm assuming I'm rejected.

However, considering the wave of acceptance in Grad Cafe last year, it seems that more acceptance is coming. Is your POI referring to acceptance in a particular field or what?

No, I didn't speak to my POI. The graduate affairs administrative person on the phone told me most acceptances (for all fields) are out already, so the chances of getting admitted are low, but that I can ask my POI to make sure. I emailed my POI but haven't got a reply.

I got my unofficial acceptance from Brown yesterday and was told I would get the official acceptance in the next couple of days so I'd say there is still some hope

Let's hope for the best I haven't seen any rejections from Brown anywhere this year but I fear that most acceptances have been sent already.

Has anyone talked to a Yale Physics PI and know when they are going to release their decisions? Going crazy over here waiting - emailed with a PI and he said "middle of February" but I don't know anything beyond that.

Haha I just thought they were taking a break. But yeah, it's reasonable that they're done I guess, since their program is very small. All right, thanks! All the best to those accepted.

Not sure if they are done but the UCLA astronomy open house is on 3/3 and 3/4 and the physics open house is on 3/9 and 3/10.

Heard nothing from Brown, Stony Brook and Minnesota till now. Taking Brown and Minnesota as rejects since going by the posts on gradcafe, Minnesota is now sending on waitlist and rejection notifications while I feel Brown is done. Hope for all dream schools gone up in smoke.

Not even sure they looked at my application since they hadn't matched my GRE scores until like a month after the deadline and my application status says "pending" -.-

UC Davis made me an offer two weeks ago. I have already declined their offer so maybe there are a few more to go. Their open house is on 3/3 and 3/4. Good luck!

I saw on gradcafe that Princeton sent out rejections, acceptances, and at least one person listed they were waitlisted. I have gotten no status update from Princeton at all. Do I email to check my status and who exactly would i have to contact? I cannot find an email for Princeton Physics admissions.

Waitlisted in NYU.
If anybody has been accepted but intends to go to another university, please let NYU know, so that we have a chance. Thank you =)
