Being Away from Physics for 6 Years

Hi
I got a B.Sc. in Physics on 2006 and then started an M.Sc. but stopped (after completing all coursework but without completing thesis) on 2009. Since that date, I am working in industry in an assignment not related to Physics at all. Does getting a high score in PGRE compensate for it? and how does admission committee look for stopping M.Sc. at the Thesis stage?
Thanks
