Specialization Query

  • This has become our largest and most active forum because the physics GRE is just one aspect of getting accepted into a graduate physics program.
  • There are applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, visiting schools, anxiety of waiting for acceptances, deciding between schools, finding out where others are going, etc.

Specialization Query

Should I mention about the area of specialization I want to pursue in my Statement of Purpose, I know what I'd like to follow? And by mention I mean (the 'yyy')

just after the heading 'Statement of Purpose'.

Seems strange to me. Just make a mention of what you like in the actual statement.
