Is it possible to apply for the Master of Applied Physics if I don't have much research experience?

  • This has become our largest and most active forum because the physics GRE is just one aspect of getting accepted into a graduate physics program.
  • There are applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, visiting schools, anxiety of waiting for acceptances, deciding between schools, finding out where others are going, etc.

Is it possible to apply for the Master of Applied Physics if I don't have much research experience?

Hi folks

I am an international applicant who is interested in the Master of Applied Physics.

Actually, I am about to get a Bachelor's in Physics and a Master's in Information Systems next year.

However, these two programs focus on professional education and I do not have much research experience.

Due to my huge interest in Applied Physics and Quantum Information Science, I am wondering if it is possible to apply for the Master of Applied Physics.

How are the odds? Should I do it?
