Rolling Admissions

  • This has become our largest and most active forum because the physics GRE is just one aspect of getting accepted into a graduate physics program.
  • There are applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, visiting schools, anxiety of waiting for acceptances, deciding between schools, finding out where others are going, etc.

Rolling Admissions

Do grad schools send out all of their offers of admission on the same day, or do they take a few days to send out all their offers?

I think they take a few days: Exhibit A:https://www.thegradcafe.com/survey/inde ... =astronomy
But of course, I think it depends on the school. Hawaii, for instance, sent out all its offers/waitlists on the 24th Jan this year, not sure about the rejections...
