2019 REU Acceptance Thread

  • This has become our largest and most active forum because the physics GRE is just one aspect of getting accepted into a graduate physics program.
  • There are applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, visiting schools, anxiety of waiting for acceptances, deciding between schools, finding out where others are going, etc.

2019 REU Acceptance Thread

Hey! Wanted to make this since I didn't see any thread about REUs for this summer. Still waiting to hear back from a few. Has anyone heard back from UChicago, UMich (not the CERN REU!), or MIT MSRP?
