- This has become our largest and most active forum because the physics GRE is just one aspect of getting accepted into a graduate physics program.
- There are applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, visiting schools, anxiety of waiting for acceptances, deciding between schools, finding out where others are going, etc.

The forum has descended into chaos... only garden can save us. Will we survive until his return in August?

There is only one thing to do. Don't worry, I've already prepared the sacrificial altar. The sooner blood starts flowing the sooner garden will return.

That is disgustingly racist. The Aztec faith was no more prone to violence than traditional Judeo-Christian beliefs. Why can't garden be a Hindu god, or YHWH? No, Let's just baselessly demonize other cultures because they aren't our own.

Regardless of how prone to violence they were, the Aztecs certainly performed ritualistic human sacrifice on a large scale. On the other hand, lack of human sacrifice was one of the main aspects that distinguished the jewish religion from other ancient middle eastern religions.

Perhaps, but Judeo-Christian beliefs didn't include human sacrifice (god didn't let Abraham go through with it, remember?) Jews were big in to animal sacrifices for a while though.
(it's
funny, laugh...)

I think we've all gone through the animal-sacrifice stage. But sooner or later we grow out of it and realize there is only one way to satisfy dieties: total warefare on the infidel.

"Each chosen one [ie Muslim] will marry seventy [sic] houris, besides the women he married on earth, and all will have appetising vaginas."
They certainly know how to advertise.

"But if his analysis is correct then suicide bombers, or rather prospective martyrs, would do well to abandon their culture of death, and instead concentrate on getting laid 72 times in this world, unless of course they would really prefer chilled or white raisins, according to their taste, in the next."

I like the line right above that:
Each time we sleep with a houri we find her virgin. Besides, the penis of the Elected never softens. The erection is eternal; the sensation that you feel each time you make love is utterly delicious and out of this world and were you to experience it in this world you would faint.
Can I make love explosion on her stomACH after I take her virgin?
I'm not sure I would like an eternal erection, that could get uncomfortable.

If you experience an erection lasting longer than 4 hours please notify your doctor immediately.

It's not that bad -- there aren't pictures or anything. Now you know what's going on when they mention >4 hour erections on Viagra adds...

I know it wasn't that bad, I was just being over dramatic. Nevertheless, the lack of pictures on the webpage was easily compensated by the unpleasant images conjured up by my brain.

Thanks. I aim to please. Having read and remembered articles on many subjects is one of the few benefits of spending altogether too much time on teh interwebs

you can't be serious. but in case you are,
IMO, culture is independent of skin color. So how can racism exist if we no longer think of race as anything but artificial? Can you not admit that cultures like Anglo-Saxon or French culture are inherently more advanced than tribal cultures that are sufficient for small communities but not adaptable to modern industrialized life? This does not imply racism toward people of aboriginal "descent", because culture is independent of race and these individuals can adopt and help form whatever culture they participate in.
