I am a student from Bangladesh majoring in Industrial and Production Engineering. I am studying Physics as a 2nd major. I am very much interested to research or work in a physics related field. I want to pursue MS/Phd in physics. For which areas of physics I can be eligible for? I have the following courses in my undergrad.
Physics:(all 4 credit courses)
1.Classical Mechanics
2.Classical Electrodynamics
3.Quantum Mechanics-1
4.Quantum Mechanics-2
5.Atomic and Molecular Physics
6.Nuclear Physics-1
7.Solid State Physics-1
8.Physics Practicals
Calculus:(3 credit courses)
1.Differential Calculus and Solid Geometry
2.Integral Calculus and Differential Equations
3.Vector Calculus, Matrices and Laplace Transformation
Other math courses:
1.Numerical Analysis
Physics related:
1.Mechanics,Waves and Structure of Matter
2.Engineering Mechanics
3.Mechanics of Solids
4.Mechanics of Machinery
5.Fluid Mechanics
6.Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer
7.Electric and Electronics Circuit Theory
others:
Computer Programming,System modeling and simulation etc
