Hi,
I recently got my visa approved from US Delhi embassy but I found that I have been granted visa for only 3 months. On my I-20 it is clearly mentioned that my course duration is of 57 months. Has there been a mistake? Or do I get to extend my visa once I am in school?

I think you should consult with the US Consulate as soon as possible and you should not wait for it after going to school. You must intimate them about this so that it might not be a problem for you later on in your visa extension process. It might be possible that they need some more documents or there might be a misunderstanding.
