Has any international student received information from US grad schools?
So far I have only received phone interview request from FSU, but none of the others
Looking at the results released from the gradschoolcafe, I am getting nervous
I just hope that international students are receiving news later than domestic students
Please share your situation below if you are interested!

usually you can check the posted profiles, as the users in this forum update their result in their school destination and profile post.
I have 1 rejection from Stanford MatSci so far. The other schools I expect sometime around Valentine's day for a love or rejection letter.
No, I do not think they segregate decisions generally by domestic/international line.

I have so far heard back from three schools in the US. One of them released results for everyone on the same day, and the other two seem to be slowly releasing results to applicants one by one. And I agree with the above: schools do not segregate decisions by domestic/international line. Historically results tend to come out by the end of Feb, but this year could be different because of, well, what's going on in the world, so just be patient and good luck!

I think the school that released all results in the same day is UWM I guess?lorentzian wrote: ↑Mon Feb 08, 2021 3:21 pmI have so far heard back from three schools in the US. By the way, which schools have you received feedback from?

Thank you for the information. "Luckily", I haven't applied to these schools, haha, lets hope for the best outcomelorentzian wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 1:10 pmNot sure about UWM, but the school I was talking about is Chicagogaugeinvariance wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 3:07 amI think the school that released all results in the same day is UWM I guess?lorentzian wrote: ↑Mon Feb 08, 2021 3:21 pmI have so far heard back from three schools in the US. Ar, I am just a little bit curious, will it depends on what field of research we are applying to?Nishikata wrote: ↑Mon Feb 08, 2021 10:59 amusually you can check the posted profiles, as the users in this forum update their result in their school destination and profile post.

OK, seeing that most of the school that I have applied for, released their offer (Based on internet information), while I am still waiting for replies, I think my chances are less than meh, I am very likely that would be rejected everywhere (Well, I applied for 20 schools, but guess what? That's the reality). Maybe paying more effort next year :')

well, when certainty is not available, the simplest explanation would probably be best.

I already received an offer (early offer I guess), and got interviewed last week but haven't heard back yet.
So basically I don't know anything about the other programs I applied to. I'm still waiting.
Do you think that this year they received more applicants than usual? I think so because of GRE not being required this year.
Also I read on gradcafe that just one international applicant got accepted at UCLA (fortunately I didn't applied there
