I am simply wondering whether with a US bachelors degree in Physics if I can apply directly to UK PhD programs or if I would have to apply to a masters program in the UK first. Or maybe it is not required but changes my chances of getting accepted to a PhD program? If someone could comment on the difference in funding for the masters year versus the PhD that would be great too!
