I just decided to apply to University of Tennessee, Knoxville this past week and have been getting my application together. I emailed three of my former professors and advisers yesterday morning because I graduated last May and only one has gotten back to me about the Letters of Recommendation. In fact, he spent this past day writing my LoR and has submitted it to the school already.
What is the etiquette with asking people to write LoRs for you? How long should you wait between emails, so you won't annoy them too much? I don't want to be pushy and I'm not submitting my application until mid-May.

Re: Questions About Badgering Possible Recommenders
Do it Zeno's way. Message whenever the length of time to the deadline halves.
(A good excuse for reminding recs, if you're uncomfortable being direct about it, is sending them additional information about the application "by the way, here is my CV/statement/link to work I'm interested in etc")

Thank you. And you can send recommenders that information? I had no clue. I'm so ignorant on this.
