I am an international student and as I know recommendation letters writers must submit their letters only through institutional or corporate emails.
Some of my recommenders don't have such emails (even while being a university professor). How crucial will it be if a recommender sends a letter through a generic Gmail or such email address? Is there another way to verify the credibility of recommenders without institutional emails?
