Attaching resume to SOP?

Is it okay to attach a resume/CV to your SOP? Some applications do not have a separate section for a resume. Since I've had 5 or 6 different research projects I didn't want to bombard the committee with each project in my SOP, but I had assumed that they would be able to see my research in my resume. Is this reasonable or should I extend my SOP instead?

You should mention the important aspects of your projects in your SOP, but since you have so many, try to be brief. If only a few of them pertain to an area you're applying for, focus on those, and just give the others a passing mention so that the committee knows you've had lots of research experience.

I would advise AGAINST appending a CV to your SOP if it's not explicitly asked for. There's a reason why some schools don't ask for a CV, namely that they don't want to read it and will be annoyed if someone circumvents their instructions.

I think every school I applied to either asked for a CV, or had a place on the application to list work and research experience. Do these apps have neither?
