word counter in GRE writing?

Maybe this is a silly question but I am curious if there is a word counter in the actual writing section of GRE general test.

I am asking this because there is no word counter in the PowerPrep software.

Nope. The only special features I recall in the editor on the writing section are cut/paste.

If I remember correctly, the powerprep software is exactly the same as the actual test-taking software.
