Hi, I got offers from both of schools but having trouble to choose. My interest field is on CME(low-dimensional material). I visited Purdue, UFL doesn't have an open house event. When I visited Purdue, one of professor showed interest to work with me, and they have some really good equipments. The UFL has better weather, and they give me fellowship($25000 per year for four years). Since I don't visit the UFL, I don't know whether their equipments are good or not. From their website, there are only four professors work on CME. Therefore, please give me some suggestions. Any advice is appreciated!

I think Purdue is much better. Who wants to go to Florida anyway?

Having a specific professor want to work with you is always a good sign, especially if you get along and can see yourself working with them. But also having other CME work there in case you want to switch is smart. If you can see yourself living at Purdue with their stipend, I'd choose Purdue cause their research seems solid.
