Drexel Physics
Does drexel have a good Experimental condensed Matter Physics PHD Program? Its ranked 95 for general physics and not on the top 17 for condensed matter. I have a 3.0, 3 reus , F, american looking for mid-ranked schools.

Re: Drexel Physics
I have a friend who studied condensed matter at Drexel. His advisor didn't like him and forced him out after his masters was over. He came from a fairly good background, undergrad at a UC and very into his experiment. Kind of a shame. He also didn't like being a lab assistant, since he had to work with a lot of international students with weak English skills. As a university, Drexel is hurting for funding, at least so I hear. Their tuition is on the rise and funding could be a problem. I suggest if you are interested to email some professors. I was thinking about applying to Drexel for Biophysics, but hearing some of what I've heard, I might not. Besides, their application is not working for me. Hope this helps!
