I (and a few others) am still waiting to hear from a few astronomy & astrophysics departments...

Arizona State: SESE (specifically astrophysics) - I've heard of decisions from their planetary and exploration divisions, but not Astrophysics.

U of Utah: Phys & Astro (specifically astro) - I know their deadline is later, but anyone heard back from them who was specializing in astro?

Rice U: Phys & Astro (specifically astro) - I saw some pure physics acceptances, anyone applying for astro specialization heard back?

Please let me know if you've got any insight to results from these 3 programs.

Thanks.

Also not heard from Arizona State or seen any results. They also haven't answered any of my status inquiries, but online it still says I'm "In Review."

i think asu is such an obvious "safety" school choice that what happens is everypne applies there so they get a ridiculous number of applications effectively forcing it to NOT be a safety school for anyone also mine still says "in review too" its said that for like 3months now

They never sent me an official rejection last year. And as of November 2011 it still said "In Review". They also had their grad app person's phone go straight to voicemail on April 14th-15th so call before then if you want to talk to someone. However if you get accepted there they will most definitely contact you via email as opposed to just being notified through the website from what I've heard. Best of luck though!

They accepted me early February, but I declined it already. I agree with what's said above. They are just waiting for those who are accepted to reply. Hang on guys! Good luck to you all.
