[undergrad] physics in LAC or big school?

I couldn't find any undergrad physics forum.
So I just want to ask few questions about undergrad-physics here.

I was studying at a small LAC(Butler), and our physics/astronomy department is so small.
The small size has some kind advantages such that we can access observatories on campus and in Arizona easily. and small class size, special care from the professor.
But it seems to be too small! 4ppl as sophomores, and total 8 teachers.
Recently the school is thinking to cancel some of our classes.
and im thinking do i need to transfer to some other school with big physics department.

My key question: is a big public school with strong physics department going to give me more chances and get me better prepared for grad school OR a small LAC, since there aren't many physics students here.

Best way I can answer. He says more than I can tell you. I graduate from a small liberal arts college myself, and I'm very glad I did.
