I am a French student and I am going to start a Master's program in September in Switzerland. I applied to two master's programs where I got accepted: at the University of Geneva (UNIGE) and EPFL. I want to go to the uni that will prepare me the best for a PhD program in particle physics at LHC or in Neutrino physics in Japan.
EPFL has apparently a better reputation (better ranking), but UNIGE has also very great research with important professors working on experiments such as T2K in Japan and ATLAS at CERN. EPFL is very involved in the LHCb experiment.
Does anyone know these schools? What would you choose?
