They had an incoming class of 1 this year, so I guess it's you.

I hope you're kidding.

How do you find out about incoming class sizes anyway?

Ask them? Last year's data can be found on gradschoolshopper.

As will said, you are the only one this year. And they are notorious for weeding out 50% of the incoming class.

And unfortunately, when they weed out half a person, the other half tends to go down with it...

Stephen Hawking is an important exception to this rule.

I laughed at this and then felt immediately remorseful... and then started laughing again.

Don't feel bad about laughing. I don't think Hawking would mind. From what I know about him, he has a great sense of humor. Of course, that's all just wild ass speculation by me. He might be highly offended.

I'm sure he can take a joke... He's a beast of a man!

from "The Sun UK"

Mathematical mastermind PROFESSOR STEPHEN HAWKING has been enjoying himself at a London lapdancing club - partying the night away with a bevy of scantily-clad beauties.

Brainy Stephen - who penned the legendary science book A BRIEF HISTORY OF TIME - dropped into the famed STRINGFELLOWS club on Saturday (05JUL03), and became enamoured with a blonde dancer named TIGER.

An onlooker says, "Stephen watched the girls slide up and down poles all night. He took a shine to Tiger. He said she was wonderful."

The married wheelchair-bound Motor Neurone Disease sufferer paid the legendary club a visit the day after Irish badboy COLIN FARRELL enjoyed a steamy clinch with a dancer.

Formulating a new super g-string theory, no doubt.

Quick anecdote: I saw a talk Hawking gave at USC about 7 years ago. At the end of the talk he said his "Goodnight" and then behind him, where his presentation was being projected, a HUGE projection came up of his animated self from his Simpsons episode. He stayed on stage with it for about 45 sec - 1 min while people were taking photos. It was awesome.
