Horrible score, great everything else?

Hey,
so just found out my physics GRE score....did absolutely terrible....like end of the world terrible.
Here is the question though how does my application balance? My letters or recommendation are going to be great, research experience is fabulous, I've TA'd, have decent grades (but had to miss like 2 semesters for being sick, so GPA took a bit of hit-but due to an illness so my recommenders assure me its no big)
oh yea, I'm a female and a minority.
Moral of the story, great application, terrible Physics GRE score, what happens now? I was applying to a large range of great, to unknown schools. Do I get rid of the great schools?
Advice would be helpful, thanks!
