GRE scores: Borderline Deadline!

Hey guys,

I'm doing the PGRE in November. I've asked ETS to send my 4 free recipients both my GRE and PGRE scores. This means the unis aren't going to get them for around 6 weeks after the test.

Now, I know that unis are cool about getting the November PGRE scores whenever they are released, even if the program deadline is mid December. But I wonder how they would feel about getting the General GRE scores at the same time. I hope it isn't too late for them.

Has anyone had a similar experience or some other insight to this?

You're fine, I took my general after my physics GRE in November and they all got my scores on time. It doesn't matter much because your scores are sent together.

So, if you send your scores a month after taking them, the schools will get both general and PGRE. You don't need to wait 6 weeks? My earliest grad app deadline is Jan 1st but I'd like to be done with all of it ASAP...

Hey Jen, I'm in the same situation, waiting to get the score and then send them in. The score should be available this Saturday via phone, so I would expect that you can get them all sent out this weekend as well. I'm sure they make it top priority to get this information to schools first.

You have to wait until you get your sent scores, or else your score report may not contain all of your scores. Most schools are okay with waiting for the scores, but if you are concerned send an email to the coordinator. I do not think you will get your full score report if you order your scores the day the phone scores are available (ETS can be quite frustrating).

It is possible to order additional score reports from the gre site in advance of scores actually coming out. They will wait to send out your score report until the scores from the date you select have become available.
