Can someone please help me with this question ASAP I have no idea how to solve it using the 2D Kinematics equations my teacher gave me check it out: A jetliner is moving at a speed of 245 m/s. The vertical component of the plane's velocity is 40.6 m/s. Determine the magnitude of the horizontal component of the plane's velocity.

Please explain how do do this problem in the least complicated way thanx

This is a vector problem. The only equation you need is the Pythagoras' Theorem. The hypotenuse is 245 m/s and one of the legs of the right triangle is 40.6 m/s. The other leg is your anwser.
