Standby testing and payment help pls

Hi!

First off all let me tell you this page is great.Anway I just got an offer to go study in the US so I was late for the registration for the november test.I will try standby testing but there is something I don't understand- How do I pay for the test?

They say I just show up to the testing location with registration form,standby testing fee and ID. I'm a foreign student so I plan to pay via Mastercard. Do I just fill out the registration form and hand it over before the test and they just collect later?

I did standby test in Toronto on Oct.9

What I did was just bring the registration form with my credit card number filled in it to the test centre.

The form is download-able from ETS website

I though so I just didn't want to end up being the idiot who can't take the test because he didn't pay on time.So one more time to be sure

I fill in my credit card number and select normal testing fee plus the $50 in the registration form and hand it over at the test site at the time of the test and they send the registration form to the GRE people along with my test is this correct?

Yes. Just give the registration form to the guy in charge.
According to ETS, it can take them as much as 4 weeks to process the registration.

I really hope to take GRE (CS) in this April, however i miss the deadline...

May I ask, did anyone have the experience of sitting for a STANDBY test? is there usually have people absent for subject test?
(actually i am afriad not...)
