Physics GRE prep for EE students

Post by angik » Sat Jan 14, 2006 12:53 pm

I am junior year student of EE. However right after joining it, I understood that I should have studied physics. Thus I studied Quantum Mechanics quite a bit. Now I want to do my Phd in Physics from some good grad school in US. Can someone guide me on the topics of Phy GRE other than Quantum Mechanics and Modern Physics, I have no prbs with these. I want to give Phys GRE this year

I would suggest just looking at the practice tests and seeing which types of questions you are unfamiliar with.

I am unfamiliar with Classical Mechanics, Stat Mech, Relativity and someparts of Electrodynamics. Wot texts should I study to have enough knowledge to clear Phy GRE with a good score. Of course this is an unwholesome way. But given the amount of time I have at hand, this seems the only way.
