I recently bought "Lectures on Quantum Mechanics" by Gordon Baym. For some reason, this book is hard to find (though they sell it at my school bookstore - email me if you want me to buy a copy there for you) yet this book is awesome!
First, the ease of reading to difficulty of information ratio is >> 1, and this book contains tons of difficult topics! Also, there are great problems after each chapter.
Let me know if you've read or if you own this book, and what you think.

Baym Lectures, Best Quantum Book?
I added a way to easily link to books. I talk about it in the How to Link to Books Thread.
Anyway, here is a link to Lectures on Quantum Mechanics (isbn=0805306676). People talk very highly about the book on Amazon as well. It appears that the book is out of stock but that you can buy it used for a high price. Miles, how much is the book selling for at your school book store?
