Hi all,

I just found this site and have to say that it is great!

I re-started school two years ago after being out for about ten. I have always loved science and decided to major in physics. I have just finished my schools intro classes and have a few of questions regarding studying, and research.

I have never been great in math, but realize that it is some thing that I must master to be successful in physics. I would like to know what others have found to be the best way/ways to study math. Not just to get a good grade, but to really understand it.

I would also like to know what journals others might recommend that I start reading? I am interested in astronomy/astrophysics, cosmology, wave theory, and quantum theory, but would also like general knowledge on what is going on in other fields as well.

Last question when should one start to get involved in research?

Thanks in advance
