slightly proud, yet embarassed. Like, "yes! I have the most posts! omg I'm so lame, I have the most posts..."
it was not long ago that I held the title of "most prolific physicsGRE poster of all time"

I don't feel so bad. I have a lot of posts but I don't have many classes this semester so I spend a lot of time working on my research, which is programming. You can only write so much code before losing focus; at that point I usually post something cynical here and then go about my business.

That's exactly what I do. Code for a while, get pissed about the bugs, and then make a bunch posts. Repeat ad infinitum.

I hear you. Some of the experiments I run required that I wait while Labview gathers data for an hour or two. Nothing to do but mangle physicsGRE threads

Maybe we should all apply for graduate studies in computer science?
