Will we ever get our raw scores?

So on monday we got back scaled scores and percentiles for the October 25th test. Will we ever get our raw scores back?

Nope. They used to release them but don't anymore. I have no clue why.

Because in this way, their scoring algorithm remains secret. (Otherwise you can write a simple C-code and regenerate their scoring algorithm using very very basic AI.)

If you use the 2008 exam's scoring table and you are aware of the number of questions you attempted then you can get a 'rough' idea as to what your raw score might have been.

For example if you scored 600 and you know that you attempted 90 questions. Then using 2008's conversion table your raw score is 32.

If you answered x questions correctly and therefore ( 90-x ) questions incorrectly and we ignore the 10 questions since they dont add/reduce your score then:

1*x -0.25 * (90-x ) = 32

[ +1 mark for correct , -0.25 for incorrect ]

Solving gives x ~43 so you got 43 right,47 wrong and u left the remaining 10.

--------

I say rough because we cant be sure of the difficulty level of the test we took.

I attempted 62, got 740 and we now from previous tests that the raw should e ~50 and it should be an integer. Here is the basic calculation:
62-1.25*x=raw score
The possible solution for this equation is "raw score=52" and "incorrect answers: x=8".
