Chance Of Acceptance

Post by pzereshki » Sat Feb 25, 2012 4:58 pm

Dear Friends ,
I want to know which part in application is more important than others?
Papers? ,PGRE? GPA? or anything else?
I personally have GREs: General 138(v),157(Q) ,W(3).Pgre(790); 1 international paper,
GPA: 70% in BS and 80 % in MS
I applied for UToledo; Umass Amherst,KU;Portland SU.
Are they are enough to be sure about acceptance (by fund)?
Thank you

PGRE above 850 will be better for Amherst and KU. But I feel for Toledo and Portland you have enough chance

Hi guys I am also adding my profile for evaluation:
M.Sc. Physics completed with first division. (66%) (85/100 in Biomedical physics)
B.Sc. (66%)
I.Sc. (62%)
General gre recently completed. Verbal 156(70%) Quant 162(84%) AWA 3.5
International student
PGRE: registered for 19th october
Toefl: registered for last week of November
Interested in Ph.D. in Medical Physics or Biomedical Engineering
What kinds of PGRE and TOEFL scores will improve my chances at AAPM accredited programs in USA. Currently I am preparing for PGRE mostly using released 5 sets of questions as I have only 1 month to prepare. Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.
Any Medical Physics students or faculty? Please help....

try to have PGRE above 800. The score is very important for getting into good programs.
