PGRE cancelled in India [29 Oct, 22]

The Physics GRE exam in India got cancelled as question papers did not reach the centers.

It has definitely come as a surprise, it isn't usual for ETS to have logistics issues and cancelling the examination. It would be helpful if someone outside India could comment on if they could give the Physics GRE today (29th October 2022).

My test center was in kolkata and they sent out a mail at midnight stating that the test was cancelled due to logistic issues.How disappointing! Any information about the new date?

The person at the test center in Delhi verbally told that they are planning to reschedule the test on 19th Nov.

We appeared in the test in Pakistan and it was not cancelled.

I have even mailed them but no reply. Called US number, they said wait for mail.

Dear GRE Test Taker,

Thank you for your message. We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused.

We are working with the Test Center to get a date for a make-up. As soon as we have the make-up date, we’ll provide this information.

Scores for the paper-delivered GRE General Test and GRE® Subject Tests will be available in your ETS Account, and your scores will be sent to your designated score recipients approximately five weeks after your test date.

On occasion, weather conditions or other circumstances beyond the test administrator or ETS's control may require a delayed start or the rescheduling of your test appointment. In the event that it is necessary to cancel your test session, or if it is later determined that your scores could not be reported, you will be offered the opportunity to schedule another test appointment free of charge or receive a full refund of the original test fee. You may also seek reimbursement from ETS® for reasonable and documented expenses associated with traveling to the test center, even though technical problems are generally not the fault of ETS.

To request reimbursement, please send us the following information within 30 days of your original appointment: your name, date of birth, mailing address, daytime telephone number, email address, original test date and registration or appointment number, and a brief description of what occurred at the test center. All reimbursements will be made in U.S. dollars.

I haven't received any email from ETS yet. Does anyone know any information regarding the reschedule date in Kolkata?

My test is scheduled in Delhi too and I received the email for the rescheduling to 20th of November on the 14th.

We didnt get a new date but somehow we got this mail

I was refunded the test fee after canceling.

I do not have any update about the test. You may mail them on gre-info@ets.org, they are active in replying. Or you may call them on (866) 473-4373 or (609) 771-7670 during US business hours.

I gave the exam on 10th december. we got a mail on 9th evening that the pgre will be on 10th.
